Jharkhand News : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has expressed deep grief over the sudden demise of Sudivya Kumar Sonu, a Cabinet Minister in the Jharkhand government and MLA from Giridih Sadar. Describing the loss as deeply personal, the Chief Minister said the sudden death of his close colleague had left a void that could not be expressed in words.
Hemant Soren said it was extremely difficult for him to accept the news of Sudivya Kumar Sonu’s untimely demise. He said the passing away of his Cabinet colleague had left an emptiness in his personal life that would be difficult to fill.
‘You Will Always Be Remembered, Bhaiya’
Expressing his emotions, the Chief Minister said that Sudivya Kumar Sonu’s death was a personal loss for him and an irreparable loss for Jharkhand.
“Today, while remembering him, one thought keeps coming to my mind again and again—that life is so fleeting. The voice that was among us till yesterday now remains only in our memories,” Hemant Soren said.
He added that the absence of Sudivya Kumar Sonu would always be felt and paid tribute to him with the words, “You will always be remembered, Bhaiya. Naman.”
Minister Dies After Sudden Health Deterioration
Sudivya Kumar Sonu, a Cabinet Minister in the Jharkhand government and Giridih Sadar MLA, passed away late Saturday night in Giridih.
According to the information available, his health suddenly deteriorated during the night, following which he was taken to Mercy Hospital in Giridih. He died during treatment.

Sudivya Kumar Sonu was considered a close leader of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. He was handling responsibilities related to Urban Development, Tourism, Art and Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs, and Higher and Technical Education.
His sudden demise has triggered a wave of mourning across Jharkhand’s political circles.
The Chief Minister prayed that God would grant strength to the bereaved family and give Sudivya Kumar Sonu a place at His holy feet.
