Nemra: Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Ravindranath Mahto, Rajya Sabha MP Dr Sarfaraz Ahmad and several other political leaders met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his ancestral residence in Nemra on Monday and expressed their condolences on the demise of his mother, Rupi Soren.
The delegation included MLA C.P. Singh, MLA Chandra Dev Mahto, Kumar Sarvjeet, MLA from the Bodh Gaya Assembly constituency in Bihar, former MLA Dr Jitu Charan Ram and former MLA Saurabh Narayan Singh.
During the meeting, the public representatives conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the Chief Minister and paid tribute to the departed soul. They prayed for eternal peace for Rupi Soren and sought strength for the bereaved family to cope with the immense loss.
