Offbeat: From her very first film Saiyara, actress Anit Padda has won a special place in the hearts of audiences. In a short span of time, she has been hailed as the “National Crush” on social media. Overwhelmed by this immense love, Anit shared a heartfelt message for her fans on Instagram.
Anit posted a few pictures from the film’s set and wrote, “Slowly, the feeling of this dream is fading away. I just want to say that I love you. I don’t know you personally, but still, I love you.” She went on to add, “Your love has touched me deeply. Now I don’t know what to do in return, except to give that love back to you.”
Speaking about her purpose as an actor, Anit said, “If my work can make you laugh, make you cry, remind you of something you had forgotten, or ease your loneliness even a little, then I’ll feel I’m moving in the right direction.” She also added that she wishes to play every role with complete dedication and sincerity, as it creates a deep bond between her and the audience.
Saiyara is directed by Mohit Suri and is a musical romantic drama film. In it, Anit plays the role of Vani Batra, a young writer who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. Her pairing in the film with actor Ahaan Panday has been showered with love from the audience. The film also features Geeta Agrawal, Rajesh Kumar, Varun Badola, Shad Randhawa, and other notable actors in important roles.
