Residents from Garh Husir Hochar and Husir villages — Mihrajul Ansari, Faizul Ansari, and Fakhruddin Ansari — have submitted written complaints to the Deputy Commissioner of Ranchi, alleging that Oraon demanded between ₹10,000 and ₹30,000 to carry out land mutation and land reform procedures.

According to the complainants, applications are deliberately delayed if bribes are not paid. In a more alarming claim, the villagers allege that Vijay Oraon threatened to falsely implicate them in SC/ST cases if they refused to pay the demanded amounts.

The villagers have called for strict action and a fair investigation into the matter. As the case now lies with the district administration, public attention is fixed on whether authorities will act decisively or allow the issue to be buried in bureaucratic red tape.
