Chatra Police Paste Proclamation Notice at TSPC Zonal Commander’s Home

Jharkhand News : Chatra district’s Kunda police have taken a major action against a top leader of the banned outfit Tritiya Sammelan Prastuti Committee (TSPC). Acting on a court order, police on Monday pasted proclamation notices against absconding accused Udesh Ji alias Arif Ji alias Shashikant Ji, the zonal commander of TSPC, named in Kunda Police Station Case No. 21/25.

Following the court’s directive, a police team reached Kedal village under the Manatu police station area in Palamu district. Proclamation notices were formally pasted at the accused’s residence as well as at prominent locations in and around the village to inform the public about his absconding status.

According to police officials, the accused has been on the run since the incident. Several raids were conducted to arrest him, but without success. Subsequently, the police obtained permission from the court under relevant sections of the Criminal Procedure Code to issue a proclamation notice.

Police also informed local villagers that if the accused fails to surrender before the court or police, further action including attachment of property will be initiated. The public has been urged to share any information related to the accused with the nearest police station. Authorities assured that the identity of informants will be kept strictly confidential.
