Chief Minister Appeals to Citizens to Take Precautions During Cold Wave

Jharkhand News : In view of the ongoing cold wave in Jharkhand, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has appealed to the people of the state to remain alert and take all necessary precautions. He urged citizens to avoid unnecessary outdoor movement, especially during the early morning and evening hours when the cold is most severe.

The Chief Minister advised people to wear warm clothing and take special care of children, the elderly, and those suffering from illnesses. He also cautioned citizens to exercise extreme care while using heaters or bonfires to prevent accidents. Emphasizing safety, he stressed the importance of maintaining proper ventilation in rooms while using heating appliances.

Hemant Soren further said that symptoms such as cough and cold, extreme weakness, difficulty in breathing, dizziness, or confusion should not be ignored. In such cases, people should immediately contact the nearest health center or consult a medical professional.

Appealing to citizens to make use of emergency services provided by the state government, the Chief Minister informed that people can contact the 108 ambulance service, 104 health helpline, or call 1800-345-6540 in case of any emergency.

The Chief Minister reiterated that the safety and health of the people of the state remain the government’s highest priority. He assured that the administration is fully alert during this challenging weather and urged citizens to follow the guidelines issued by the administration and health department.
