Jharkhand News : Chief Minister Hemant Soren, accompanied by his wife and MLA Kalpana Soren, visited the residence of late former School Education and Literacy Minister Ramdas Soren in Ghorabandha, Jamshedpur, on Friday to attend his Sanskar Bhoj (funeral feast). The Chief Minister offered floral tributes to the late leader and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
During the visit, the CM met Ramdas Soren’s wife, Surajmani Soren, son Somesh Chandra Soren, and other family members, comforting them in their time of grief. He prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and strength for the family to bear the irreparable loss.
Speaking to media representatives, Chief Minister Soren said, “We have lost two great souls in a short span—Guruji (former CM Shibu Soren) and now Ramdas Soren Ji. Their passing is an irreparable loss for the state.”
He added that people from across Jharkhand had gathered to pay their respects, reflecting the deep admiration and love that Ramdas Soren commanded.
“On behalf of the entire state, I offer my deepest tribute—Shat Shat Naman, humble homage to Ramdas Soren Ji,” the CM said.
