Jharkhand News : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren arrived in Zurich on Thursday to participate in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) being held in Davos, Switzerland. Upon his arrival at Zurich Airport, he was warmly received by India’s Ambassador to Switzerland, Mridul Kumar.
Sharing an update on social media platform X, Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed his pleasure at meeting the Indian Ambassador. He stated that he looks forward to representing Jharkhand and India at the global forum, which focuses on inclusive development aligned with environmental sustainability.
The Chief Minister highlighted that Jharkhand, a state rich in mineral resources, offers vast investment opportunities in sectors such as mining, manufacturing, infrastructure, and green energy. During the WEF annual meeting in Davos, Hemant Soren will engage with global industry leaders to position Jharkhand as a preferred investment destination.
The visit aims to promote the state’s key focus sectors and explore new investment possibilities. Discussions with multinational companies on potential investment proposals and partnerships are also expected, strengthening Jharkhand’s presence on the global economic platform.
