Jharkhand News : Several important meetings took place on Saturday at the Chief Minister’s residential office on Kanke Road, where Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren met different delegations. Among them was a courtesy visit by the Vice Chancellor of Birsa Agricultural University (BAU), Ranchi, Dr. S.C. Dubey.

During the meeting, the Vice Chancellor invited the Chief Minister to attend the inauguration of the Kisan Agrotech Fair, which will be held from March 14 to March 16, 2026, at the BAU grounds. He requested the Chief Minister to participate as the Chief Guest at the opening ceremony.
Dr. Dubey also briefed the Chief Minister about the university’s ongoing academic activities, agricultural research programs, and initiatives aimed at benefiting farmers across the state.
Discussion on Kisan Agrotech Fair
The Vice Chancellor highlighted that the Kisan Agrotech Fair will serve as an important platform for farmers to learn about modern agricultural technologies, improved seeds, innovative farming techniques, and advanced agricultural equipment. The event aims to strengthen agricultural productivity and promote technological adoption among farmers.
Jain Community Delegation Also Meets the Chief Minister
A delegation from the Digambar Jain Panchayat, Ranchi, also met Chief Minister Hemant Soren during the day. Members of the delegation raised several social and religious concerns related to their community.
The Chief Minister listened carefully to their concerns and assured them of the government’s necessary support and cooperation in addressing the issues.
Discussion on Development and Social Participation
During these meetings at the Chief Minister’s residence, discussions were also held on state development, agricultural progress, farmer welfare, and social participation. The Chief Minister reiterated that the state government remains committed to the development of farmers and the welfare of all sections of society.
