CM Hemant Soren Reviews Preparations for Davos and UK Visit

Jharkhand News : Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday reviewed the preparations for the proposed Davos and United Kingdom (London) visit from January 18 to 26, 2026 at his official residence on Kanke Road, Ranchi. The meeting included senior officials, discussing all key aspects of the upcoming international visits.

Officials informed that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, a 11-member Jharkhand delegation will participate in the World Economic Forum (Davos). This will be the first time Jharkhand will be represented at such a prestigious global platform. The event will host leading global investors, industrialists, and dignitaries.

During the Davos visit, Jharkhand’s mineral wealth, industrial infrastructure, tourism potential, sustainable development initiatives, and investment opportunities will be highlighted to the global audience. After Davos, the delegation will visit London, focusing on institutional, educational, and investment-oriented cooperation, policy dialogues, and engagement with the Indian diaspora.

The Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure all preparations are coordinated, effective, and well-organized. He emphasized that establishing Jharkhand as a prime investment destination and fostering collaboration with multinational organizations remains the state government’s top priority.

CM Soren expressed confidence that the Davos and UK visits will serve as a milestone in attracting investment, promoting industrial growth, and generating employment opportunities in the state. The meeting was attended by Minister Sudivya Kumar, MLA Kalpana Soren, Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary Vandana Dadel, Industry Secretary Arwa Rajkamal, Tourism Secretary Manoj Kumar, and other senior officials.
