Jharkhand News : Chief Minister Hemant Soren stated that Jharkhand is a backward state and the central government should play the role of a “big brother” to ensure its overall development. During the budget session, he emphasized the need for active participation and special financial support from the Centre in the state’s growth.
Soren was speaking to the media on Wednesday in the Assembly premises. He highlighted that the state government is working actively to strengthen the rural economy, improve the education system through tribal hostels, and enhance health services under the Digital Health Mission.
The Chief Minister also reiterated his commitment to the welfare of tribal and marginalized communities, citing initiatives such as the Chief Minister Mainya Samman Scheme for women and the Abua Housing Scheme for the homeless.
