Bihar news : In the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar addressed a massive public gathering in Gaya, highlighting the significant developmental strides made by the NDA government in the state.
CM Kumar recalled the dire conditions of the past, stating, “There was a time when people in Bihar couldn’t even afford proper clothes. Today, things have changed drastically.” He credited the transformation to the policies implemented under his government.
Listing key achievements, the Chief Minister said that by 2018, electricity had reached every household, and from August this year, the government has started providing 125 units of free electricity. He further claimed that the government has fulfilled its 2020 promise by providing 1 million government jobs, with a new target to create employment for 10 million youths over the next five years.
He also pointed out social welfare initiatives, such as increasing the widow pension from ₹400 to ₹1,100, and extended support to all communities, including minorities. “Our government has worked to uplift all sections of society — whether it’s the Muslim community or others,” he noted.
CM Kumar assured investors that those setting up new industries in Bihar would receive full support. He emphasized that Bihar is receiving special financial assistance, which will further accelerate the pace of development.
He concluded by asserting, “No government in the past has achieved as much as we have.”
