Jharkhand News : Cold conditions are steadily intensifying across Jharkhand. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert, predicting that the minimum temperature may fall by 2 to 3°C over the next three days. This drop is likely to increase cold winds, chill, and discomfort across the state.
According to weather experts, a Western Disturbance active over Pakistan and its adjoining regions is creating a low-pressure zone. Under its influence, westerly winds are triggering another low-pressure development over the Bay of Bengal. These winds are pushing cold air from North India toward Jharkhand, causing a continuous drop in temperature.
In the last 24 hours, Jharkhand recorded its highest temperature at 29°C in Chaibasa, while the lowest was 5.2°C in Gumla. Many districts witnessed a sharp dip in temperature on Monday.
