Jharkhand News : The Culture Awareness Mega Campaign Fortnight was inaugurated on Thursday at Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Rajrappa, located in the coalfield region of Ramgarh. The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the school’s Secretary Chandrashekhar Choudhary, Principal Umesh Prasad, and Mithilesh Kumar Khanna, Co-Coordinator of Sanskriti Bodh, Ranchi Division.
Addressing the gathering, Secretary Chandrashekhar Choudhary said that Indian culture is not merely a collection of traditions and customs but a rich way of life that provides meaningful direction to society. He highlighted that values such as service, sacrifice, harmony, and collective welfare are deeply rooted in Indian culture, along with a sense of responsibility towards family, society, nature, and the nation. He stressed the need to connect the younger generation with India’s cultural heritage and called upon teachers, parents, and community members to actively participate in the campaign.
Principal Umesh Prasad described inclusiveness, harmony, and universal welfare as the defining features of Indian culture. He noted that ancient scriptures such as the Vedas, Upanishads, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Puranas, and Ramcharitmanas form the foundation of India’s cultural legacy while emphasizing respect for family, society, and nature as integral to Indian values. He encouraged all stakeholders to join the campaign and help spread cultural awareness.
Mithilesh Kumar Khanna informed that the fortnight-long campaign, scheduled from August 13 to 28, will reach different sections of society through dedicated outreach teams to promote awareness about Indian culture, values, and traditions.
The programme was conducted by Acharya Gayatri Kumari. Teachers and staff members, including Indrajeet Singh, Dilip Singh, Bhuneshwar Kumar, Rohit Raj, Dr. Gayatri Kumari, Usha Kumari, Bachulal Tiwari, Shashi Kant, and other members of the school, played an important role in the successful organisation of the event.
