Offbeat News : Ahead of the release of the upcoming web series Do You Wanna Partner, actress Diana Penty shared her thoughts in a recent media interaction. The actress revealed that she was instantly attracted to the project after hearing its script.
“What drew me in was the friendship between the two girls,” Diana said. “The first thought that came to my mind was—this is exactly how I’d behave in real life. It was written so beautifully and, most importantly, so realistically. The way they hang out, party together, and talk—it felt completely natural and relatable, just like I do with my best friend.”
The story revolves around two best friends who partner up to launch their own alcohol brand. Diana shared that the script captured the essence of modern female friendships—filled with support, disagreements, challenges, and shared dreams.
“It was refreshing for me because I honestly can’t remember the last time I saw a show or film where the central focus was the bond between two women,” she added. “And now, in the age of startups, it’s even more relevant. The fact that these women are entering the business world, launching a brand, and navigating the startup culture made the premise even more compelling.”
Do You Wanna Partner is set to release soon on OTT platforms. The series stars Diana Penty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Shweta Tiwari, Jaaved Jaaferi, Nakuul Mehta, Neeraj Kabi, Sufi Motiwala, and Rannvijay Singh.
