Jharkhand News : A fire broke out on Tuesday morning at the data centre of Jharkhand Police Headquarters located in Dhurwa, Ranchi. The blaze reportedly started in the development room above the data centre, damaging electrical cables and equipment.
Fire brigade teams rushed to the spot and managed to control the flames before they spread further. Initial investigation suggests the cause of the fire was a short circuit.
Around 40 computers and 10 air-conditioners were destroyed, along with several important documents. The exact extent of the damage is still being assessed.
Notably, this is not the first incident of fire at the Jharkhand Police Headquarters — similar incidents have been reported in the past.
