Jharkhand News : Under the Gondulpara Mining Project in Barkagaon, Hazaribagh district, five youths from Gali village have been selected as security guards through a job fair organized by the Adani Foundation. On Saturday, Project Head Pundrik Mishra handed over appointment letters to the selected candidates at the Foundation’s Barkagaon office.
The job fair, recently organized by the Adani Foundation, aimed to create new employment opportunities for local youths. As a result, five candidates from the project-affected Gali village were selected and have been posted at the Singrauli Project in Madhya Pradesh.
The selected candidates are Ranjeet Bhakta, Pramod Ganjhu, Mukesh Kumar, Pawan Ganjhu, and Chitranjan Ganjhu. They had submitted their resumes during the employment fair held on September 9. Following a transparent selection process, these candidates were chosen and will soon join their respective workplaces.
The selected youths will receive a monthly salary, along with benefits such as Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF), annual medical check-ups, affordable meals, housing facilities, and performance-based incentives.
Adani Foundation officials said that this achievement reflects the positive outcomes of their employment generation initiative. The Foundation remains committed to empowering local youth through skill development and livelihood programs.
Notably, the Adani Foundation has been actively conducting various CSR activities in the Barkagaon region, including free ambulance services, nutrition kits for TB patients, eye and health camps, and educational support and scholarship programs, benefiting a large number of local residents.
The program was attended by Security Head Amit Kole, HR Executive Laxmikant, and CSR Managers Mohit Gupta and Santosh Tiwari, among others.
