Jharkhand News : BJP State President and Leader of Opposition, Babulal Marandi, has extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for announcing a major gift to women on the auspicious occasion of Navratri. Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, the central government will provide 25 lakh new LPG connections free of cost to eligible beneficiaries.
Marandi said that during the Congress era, LPG cylinders were out of reach for poor families, and women had to cook on smoke-filled stoves, leading to serious health issues. He praised the Modi government for transforming lives through Ujjwala Yojana, which has already benefitted over 10 crore families.
