Jharkhand News: Star International School celebrated Friendship Day with a unique environmental initiative titled “Friendship Blooms in Nature”, encouraging students to strengthen their bond with nature while promoting environmental awareness.
As part of the programme, students adopted a plant as their “green friend” and pledged to care for it regularly. They tied colourful friendship bands around saplings and shared the message, “One Tree, One Friend,” highlighting the importance of protecting the environment.
The celebration was marked by students dressed in green, adding a vibrant touch to the school campus. Children from different classes presented dance performances, speeches, poems, and songs, conveying the significance of nature conservation and sustainable living.
The event concluded with all students taking a pledge to protect the environment and nurture trees. The campus resonated with enthusiasm, greenery, and the true spirit of friendship, making the celebration both meaningful and memorable.
