Jharkhand News : Grizzly Public School, located at Gumo Satpulia, observed the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri with deep reverence and inspiration. The school’s assembly area was beautifully decorated with quotes and slogans such as “Truth is God” and “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan”, symbolizing the ideologies of the two great leaders.
The program commenced with floral tributes to the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. Class 4 student Avni presented an eloquent speech in Hindi, highlighting the life and values of Mahatma Gandhi. Advik Anant and Kavya followed with impactful presentations in English on Gandhi’s principles of truth, non-violence, and simplicity.
Student Ishaan Parashar shared inspiring anecdotes from Lal Bahadur Shastri’s life, emphasizing his honesty, simplicity, and patriotism. Another student, Aditya, elaborated on the significance of Shastri’s powerful slogan “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan”, and how it still resonates in the heart of the nation.
In a creative twist, student Aarav presented lesser-known facts about Mahatma Gandhi in an engaging manner. Kavya, from Class 5, delivered a speech that encouraged fellow students to walk on Gandhi’s path of non-violence and truth.
A highlight of the event was a PowerPoint presentation by Class 8 student Abhay, who detailed Shastri Ji’s journey—from his early life to his impactful tenure as Prime Minister.
The cultural segment featured a soul-stirring rendition of the bhajan “Sabarmati Ke Sant”, sung by students Adharv, Ashvika, Harjot, and Priyanshi, creating an emotional and devotional atmosphere.
Principal Neerja, in her inspirational address, emphasized that Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri are not just historical figures but embodiments of values. She urged the students to embrace their teachings of truth, non-violence, simplicity, and service to build a better and brighter India.
The event was a collaborative success with active contributions from Principal Neerja, Coordinator Sakinder Kumar, Co-coordinator Anita Kumari, and teachers Pooja Jha, Sadaf Naaz, Gurjeet Kaur, and Administrator Prateek Jain, alongside teachers Kashinath Kumar, Pradeep Surin, Ratan Pandey, Suraj Kumar, Chandan Kumar, Avinash Kumar, Mukesh Kushwaha, Mukesh Saw, Deepak, Sagar, Faizan, Avinash, and female staff members Rashmi Sood, Chaitali Ghosh, Soni Gupta, Neha, Disha, Manisha, Shalini, Mayawati, Rani, Divyali, Sonali, Shruti, Riya, along with Anil, Rajneesh, Vikas, Rohit, Manimala, Nikhat, and other administrative members.
