Jharkhand News : A firing incident was reported in Barkagaon area of Hazaribag district, leaving a youth injured. The victim, identified as Sujeet, sustained a gunshot wound to the waist. The incident occurred in the Daily Market area under the Barkagaon police station limits.
Upon receiving information, police from Barkagaon Police Station reached the spot and rushed the injured youth to a hospital for treatment. A spent cartridge was recovered from the scene.
Police said efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the attackers. The area witnessed brief panic after the firing, and investigators are examining nearby CCTV footage and questioning witnesses to ascertain the sequence of events.
