Jharkhand News : The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rainfall in 11 districts of Jharkhand on August 13. According to the department, both southern and northeastern districts of the state are likely to receive significant rainfall.
The southern districts include East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, and Seraikela-Kharsawan, while the northeastern districts expecting heavy showers are Deoghar, Dumka, Sahibganj, Pakur, Giridih, Godda, and Jamtara.
In the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall was recorded in Masanjore (Dumka) at 56 mm, while Ranchi received 3.6 mm.
On Sunday, clear skies were observed in Ranchi and surrounding areas, resulting in mild heat and humidity during the day.
