Jharkhand News : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, along with his wife and MLA Kalpana Soren, visited the historic Sarna site at Sirmtoli on Saturday to celebrate the Sarhul festival. They performed traditional rituals with devotion, emphasizing the preservation and promotion of tribal heritage.

During the ceremony, the priest placed a Sal (Sarai) flower in the CM’s ear as a blessing, symbolizing the deep connection between humans and nature. The Chief Minister extended heartfelt wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Sarhul.
Hemant Soren said that the Sirmtoli Sarna site is a living example of tribal culture and its connection with nature. He added, “The Sarhul festival is not just a celebration, but a message of nature conservation and community unity.”
The CM urged people to protect nature and commit to its conservation. He assured that the Jharkhand government is continuously working to preserve tribal traditions, culture, and heritage.
On this occasion, he wished all citizens a joyful Sarhul festival, celebrating nature, culture, and social harmony.
