Jharkhand News : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren was formally invited to attend the three-day State Itkhori Mahotsav–2026, scheduled from February 19 to 21, 2026.
The invitation was extended during a courtesy meeting by Chatra Deputy Commissioner Kirtishree at the Chief Minister’s official residence on Kanke Road in Ranchi on Saturday.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner briefed the Chief Minister on the detailed preparations for the festival. She informed that a series of cultural, religious, and social programs will be organized during the event to promote and showcase the rich cultural heritage of the region.
The district administration is making comprehensive arrangements to ensure the grand and successful organization of the festival. Special focus is being given to security, traffic management, visitor facilities, cleanliness, and other essential services at the venue.
Chief Minister Soren described the festival as an important event for strengthening the region’s cultural identity and boosting tourism. He reviewed the preparations and extended his best wishes for the successful conduct of the Mahotsav.
