IND vs SA: Long queues outside JSCA Stadium as fans wait overnight for tickets

Jharkhand News : The excitement for the upcoming India vs South Africa ODI match on 30 November at the JSCA International Stadium has reached a fever pitch in Ranchi. Even though ticket sales were scheduled to begin at 9 AM today, cricket lovers flocked to the stadium premises much earlier, forming long queues through the night. Hundreds of fans camped outside the counters to ensure they could secure their seats for the high-voltage clash.

Fans waited overnight to secure tickets

To avoid the heavy rush expected in the morning, many youngsters and cricket enthusiasts reached the stadium late at night and positioned themselves in the queue. Several fans brought food, water, mats, and torches, preparing to wait for hours. As dawn approached, the lines outside Gate 1 and Gate 2 stretched further, with supporters arriving from Ranchi as well as nearby districts.

Strict security measures to manage the growing crowd

Considering the swelling crowd, the district administration and stadium management implemented strict security arrangements. Additional police forces have been deployed across the stadium complex, and barricades have been installed to manage the queues. Police personnel continued to monitor the lines closely to avoid any disorder. Parking zones and entry routes around the stadium have also been placed under tight surveillance to ensure smooth crowd movement.

Six ticket counters, dedicated counter for women

A total of six ticket counters have been set up for the sale of offline tickets. Among these, one counter has been reserved exclusively for women, allowing them to purchase tickets without inconvenience. Other counters have been organized for general spectators, with volunteers and stadium authorities assisting fans throughout the process.

With enthusiasm touching the skies and thousands eager to witness Team India in action, the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi is buzzing with energy ahead of the India vs South Africa showdown.
