Jharkhand News : Jharkhand Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari has asserted that the INDIA alliance government in the state is completely stable and secure. He dismissed the ongoing rumours of the government’s downfall as mere political conspiracies.
Speaking to the media during an event organized at the Jamshedpur Deputy Commissioner’s office on World Disability Day, the minister said that Chief Minister Hemant Soren is running the government firmly and no false claims by the opposition will have any impact.
Dr. Ansari accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of spreading misleading narratives. “The moment the Chief Minister went to Delhi, BJP leaders started circulating stories. But the truth is that neither the government is in danger nor is the CM in contact with anyone,” he said. He labeled BJP leaders as “headmasters of rumours.”
He added that the tribal and Christian communities have never bowed before anyone, and their leaders too will never bow. Recalling the time when alleged conspiracies sent the Chief Minister to jail, he said that even then Hemant Soren did not give up, so the question of bowing now does not arise.
Regarding talks of the Centre withholding funds, he said Jharkhand will continue its development using its own resources.
During the program, the minister saluted the contribution of persons with disabilities and said the state government is taking major steps to ensure their rights and dignity. Ten people were provided battery-operated tricycles, and several special children and contributors were honoured.
He announced that a new proposal will soon be brought to the cabinet to ensure pension benefits for all persons with disabilities without any percentage criteria. The process of issuing disability certificates will also be simplified.
Highlighting improvements in health infrastructure, Dr. Ansari said that public health remains a top priority of the government. He assured early resolution of the water supply issue at MGM Hospital and informed that a new 100-bed hospital unit has been inaugurated in Jamshedpur, which will enhance healthcare facilities further.
