Jharkhand News : The Inner Wheel Club of Ramgarh distributed large umbrellas to needy street vendors, hawkers, and cart operators on Tuesday as part of a community welfare initiative.
The drive aimed to provide relief to vendors who earn their livelihood in the open, helping them protect themselves and their goods from harsh sunlight and rain.
During the programme, club members handed over umbrellas to beneficiaries and said that supporting underprivileged sections of society and making their daily lives easier remains one of the club’s key objectives.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the initiative, stating that the umbrellas would help them continue their businesses even during adverse weather conditions.
The Inner Wheel Club of Ramgarh regularly organizes social service and welfare activities for economically weaker and marginalized communities. The initiative was also appreciated by local residents.
Club President Shweta Jain, Secretary Navaljeet Kaur, Ayangar, Jasmeet Soni, Renu Mewar, Nidhi Chaudhary, Gurbaksh Saini, Pinky Bansal, and other members were present during the distribution programme.
