Jhrakhand News : Severe cold conditions continue across Jharkhand, with several districts recording minimum temperatures below 10°C. Gumla reported the lowest temperature in the state on Thursday as the mercury dropped to 0.8°C.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Yellow Alert for cold wave conditions in 13 districts. According to the department, there is unlikely to be any major change in minimum temperatures over the next two days, but a noticeable rise may follow after that.

📌 Temperature May Rise After Two Days
IMD scientist Abhishek Anand said minimum temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged for the next two days. After that, the minimum temperature could rise by around 3°C, offering some relief from the cold wave.

Keeping the cold conditions in view, the Ranchi administration has issued a public advisory urging people to take precautions against cold-related health risks. Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri said extra care is essential, especially for children, senior citizens, and those with existing health conditions.
