Jharkhand News : During the Assembly Budget Session on Monday, MLA Kalpana Murmu Soren stated that the Jharkhand government is working not for politics but for building the state’s future. She highlighted that since the coalition government took charge, the state budget has increased from ₹86,000 crore to ₹1,58,000 crore, marking nearly a 70% growth.
Kalpana emphasized that despite challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic, Jharkhand’s economic growth rate has remained strong, and the state has made continuous progress. She added that this budget is not just a document of numbers, but it will directly benefit youth, elderly, mothers, and women across the state.
In education, CM School of Excellence students achieved success in the JEE exam, demonstrating the positive results of effective policies. Additionally, the state’s road network has expanded significantly, with road length increasing from 5,000 km to 15,000 km.
On railway projects, she said Jharkhand plays a key role, urging the central government to prioritize railway projects linked to the state. She also appealed to the opposition to support the implementation of the budget, which has been designed keeping the state’s future in mind.
