Jharkhand News : The Jharkhand government and the Naveen Jindal Group held an important meeting to discuss industrial investment and long-term developmental cooperation in the state. Representatives of the Naveen Jindal Group met Chief Minister Hemant Soren in London, where detailed discussions were held on steel, clean energy, skill development, higher education, and sustainable growth.
This meeting is considered a follow-up to the interaction held on January 02, 2026, in Ranchi between Chief Minister Hemant Soren and industrialist Naveen Jindal. According to a press release issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, both sides expressed strong commitment to promoting environmentally friendly and sustainable industrial development in Jharkhand.
During the meeting, the Naveen Jindal Group showed keen interest in potential investments in the steel sector, clean energy projects, and power infrastructure in Jharkhand. Emphasis was also placed on balancing industrial growth with environmental protection and corporate social responsibility. The proposed initiatives align with the Government of India’s national goals of promoting a low-carbon economy and green energy.
Focus on Higher Education and Skill Development
The Naveen Jindal Group appreciated the Marang Gomke Scholarship Scheme and discussed possibilities of cooperation in higher education and skill training. The discussions included scholarship support for Jharkhand students, vocational training programs, and youth capacity-building initiatives.
Both parties agreed that skilled human resources are the foundation of Jharkhand’s long-term and inclusive development. The proposed collaboration is expected to create new employment opportunities, expand green energy initiatives, and accelerate sustainable industrial growth in the state.
