Jharkhand News : Weather conditions in Jharkhand have been changing frequently in recent days. While temperatures in some areas have touched 36°C, in other places they have dropped to around 30°C. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted light rainfall in several parts of the state for three consecutive days.
Rain Expected from March 7 to March 9
According to officials, light rain is likely to occur from March 7 in some parts of Jharkhand. The head of the Ranchi Meteorological Centre, Baburaj PP, said that due to an upper-air low-pressure system, southeastern and eastern regions of the state may experience partly cloudy skies and scattered light rainfall between March 7 and March 9.
He added that the low-pressure system is currently spread across Odisha and Bihar, which is influencing the weather pattern in Jharkhand.
Temperature May Rise by 2–3°C
After the rainfall, the maximum temperature in the state is expected to increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.

Jamshedpur recorded 35.1°C

The state capital Ranchi recorded around 30°C
Minimum Temperature Also Fluctuating
The minimum temperature across Jharkhand is fluctuating between 11°C and 17°C.
The lowest temperature was recorded in Gumla at 11.4°C.
Ongoing Weather Transition
In recent days, several districts had maximum temperatures reaching 35–36°C, but now in many areas it has dropped to around 32–33°C.
The Meteorological Department said that Jharkhand is currently experiencing a transitional weather phase, with noticeable fluctuations in both daytime and nighttime temperatures.
