The first batch comprises 13 young men and two young women, who have been enrolled at Dixit Auto Driving Centre in Godda for professional training.

The programme was flagged off by Paharpur Gram Panchayat Pradhan Mary Margaret, who said that skill development is one of the most effective ways to secure the future of young people. She added that such initiatives not only promote self-reliance but also contribute to the economic empowerment of local communities.

During the month-long course, trainees will receive comprehensive instruction in safe and professional driving practices, road safety, traffic regulations, and practical driving skills. Upon successful completion of the programme, efforts will also be made to connect the participants with employment opportunities across various sectors.

Project Head Ritesh Kumar Tiwari said the company’s objective is to provide skill-based training to local youth, enabling them to become self-reliant while creating sustainable livelihood opportunities in the region.

The Jitpur Mining Project has been implementing several CSR initiatives focused on education, healthcare, skill development, and livelihood enhancement. The LMV driving training programme is another step in this direction, aimed at creating new employment opportunities for local youth while contributing to the social and economic development of the area.
