JPSC-JSSC Dispute: Student Protest Intensifies, CM House Security Tightened

The JPSC-JSSC student protest over alleged irregularities in competitive exams has intensified, with over 100 additional personnel deployed around the CM’s residence.

Jharkhand News : The student movement against alleged irregularities in JPSC, JSSC and other competitive examinations continues to intensify. On Thursday, security was strengthened around the Jharkhand Chief Minister’s residence and adjoining areas following the gathering of a large number of students at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium.

Barricades have been placed on key roads leading towards the Chief Minister’s residence, while more than 100 additional security personnel have been deployed. Police and the administration are on alert amid the possibility of students marching towards the CM’s residence.

Barricades Put Up Around CM Residence

Police have increased security arrangements on major routes leading towards the Chief Minister’s residence. Additional forces have also been deployed in surrounding areas to prevent any untoward situation.

The large gathering of students at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium has prompted the administration to maintain close monitoring of the situation.

Traffic Routes Diverted in Ranchi

Traffic arrangements have also been changed in several parts of the city in view of the protest. The route between Morabadi and Suchna Bhawan has been diverted.

The sudden changes in traffic routes have caused inconvenience to people travelling to offices, schools and colleges.

Students Had Marched Towards Assembly on August 10

Earlier, on August 10, a large number of students had marched towards the Jharkhand Assembly. Barricades were installed at several locations to stop the protesters.

However, the protesters broke through the barricades and reached the Assembly. Since then, the administration has maintained heightened security in view of the ongoing student movement.
