Offbeat News : Actor Kartik Aaryan was reportedly injured while filming a challenging action scene for his upcoming project with director Kabir Khan. The injury occurred during the final two days of the shoot, forcing the production to be put on hold.
According to reports, Kartik suffered a serious knee injury while performing the action sequence and was given immediate medical assistance before being taken to hospital. He is reportedly admitted to Fortis Raheja Hospital, where doctors are examining his condition.
However, Kartik Aaryan’s team has not yet issued any official statement regarding the injury or his health condition.
Knee Surgery May Be Required
A source associated with the film reportedly said that doctors may soon decide whether Kartik Aaryan needs knee surgery. If surgery is required, the actor will have to take complete rest for several days.
His return to the sets will depend on his recovery and medical advice.
Kartik had reportedly been training regularly with an action coach before filming the sequences, as the project involved several physically demanding and challenging scenes.
Shooting Schedule May Be Affected
The injury comes at a time when Kartik Aaryan has a packed work schedule. His treatment and recovery are expected to affect his upcoming shooting commitments.
Kartik is working with Kabir Khan on the upcoming project not only as an actor but also as a producer.
He is also set to appear in director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba’s upcoming film Naagzilla. The actor also has Captain India in his upcoming lineup.
Busy Phase in Kartik Aaryan’s Career
Kartik Aaryan’s injury has been reported at a time when his career is going through a particularly busy phase. Recently, he received the Best Actor honour at the 72nd National Film Awards for his performance in Chandu Champion.
President Droupadi Murmu had also invited him to the At Home Reception held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on August 15.
