Bamboo Mushroom Leaves Four Children Ill in Koderma, Treatment Underway

Jharkhand news : Four children and a woman fell ill after eating wild bamboo mushroom in Madhuban village under Domchanch block of Koderma district on Wednesday night. The four children were admitted to Sadar Hospital, Koderma, after they complained of vomiting and stomach pain, while the woman was given primary treatment at home.

The children undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital have been identified as Mausam Kumari (16), daughter of Nirmal Yadav; Naitik Kumar (10), son of Ramanand Yadav; Ujjwal Kumar (10) and Suraj Kumar (12), both sons of Nirmal Yadav.

Bamboo Mushroom Bought at Rs 400 Per Kg

Nirmal Yadav said the bamboo mushroom had been purchased from the market at around Rs 400 per kg and brought home. Some time after eating it, the children and the woman began complaining of vomiting and stomach pain.

The family immediately took the four children to Sadar Hospital, Koderma, where they are undergoing treatment. The woman was given primary treatment at home.

Children Under Medical Observation

The children admitted to Sadar Hospital are being treated, and doctors are continuously monitoring their condition.

The incident has caused concern among the family members, who are worried about the health of the children. The woman continues to receive primary treatment at home.
