Offbeat News : Maddock Films has unveiled the teaser for its upcoming film Thaama, a genre-blending romantic horror directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. The 1-minute 49-second teaser opens with lush jungle visuals, where Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna are seen sharing intimate moments.
As a voice in the background asks, “Can you live without me for 100 years?” Rashmika replies, “Not even for a moment.” What begins as a love story quickly descends into a chilling mix of fear, suspense, and supernatural elements. Ayushmann is seen battling wild creatures and dark forces in a forest haunted by eerie and mysterious occurrences.
Adding to the intrigue, the teaser features a glimpse of Malaika Arora in a dance sequence, while the cast includes powerhouse performers like Faisal Malik (Panchayat fame), Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal. Nawazuddin’s spine-chilling appearance at the end — saying, “Haven’t seen romance in 75 years… keep going” — perfectly encapsulates the film’s thrilling blend of love and horror.
