Jharkhand News : Jharkhand is set to experience an intensified spell of cold weather, with the Meteorological Department predicting a cold wave in 12 districts starting today. According to Abhishek Anand, scientist at the Ranchi Meteorological Centre, after the dissipation of fog, cold northerly winds are now moving directly toward Jharkhand, triggering cold wave conditions across the state.
Due to the cold wave, temperatures in affected districts may drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. The impact will be seen across most parts of the state, excluding the Santhal–Kolhan region.
