Jharkhand News : In a shocking crime driven by a monetary dispute, Ranchi police have arrested four persons for allegedly killing a man who demanded the return of ₹2.5 lakh he had lent. The arrests were made on Friday from Chhapar Barwatoli under Budmu police station area.

According to the police, the victim has been identified as Ibrar Ansari alias Piyush (30). He had reportedly lent ₹2.5 lakh to Sameer Ansari around six months ago. When Ibrar repeatedly asked for his money back, the accused allegedly conspired and killed him.

🔹 Main Accused Shot the Victim

Ranchi Rural SP Praveen Pushkar said that Sameer Ansari shot Ibrar dead, while the other three accused assisted him in carrying out the crime. During interrogation, all four accused confessed to their involvement.

🔹 Body Dumped Near Railway Bridge

After the murder, the accused dumped the victim’s body near the Saraida Karamboha railway bridge in an attempt to destroy evidence. The police later recovered the body and intensified the investigation, leading to the arrests.

🔹 Weapons and Other Items Seized

Police have recovered the following items from the accused:

Officials said the seized weapons were used in the murder. Further investigation is underway to determine whether more people were involved in the crime.
