Jharkhand news : In Palamu district of Jharkhand, neighbors brutally attacked the family of a police constable. The attackers used sticks, iron rods, and an axe, seriously injuring the constable’s father, wife, and two daughters.
According to the police, the incident took place on Sunday in Alinagar village under Hussainabad police station. The initial dispute was between the constable’s wife and two neighbors, which escalated into a violent attack. The attackers, along with other relatives, entered the house and assaulted all four family members.
The injured have been identified as the constable Virendra Paswan’s father Maharaj Paswan (75), wife Sona Devi (45), and daughters Nandini Kumari (15) and Kajal Kumari (13). All victims were initially taken to a nearby government hospital, and Sona Devi was referred to Medinirai Medical College and Hospital (MMC&H) for further treatment.
Hussainabad police station in-charge Sonu Kumar Chaudhary said that this incident appears to be the result of an old enmity. Following the attack, the male members of the accused family fled. An FIR has been registered, and the police investigation is ongoing.
