Bihar News : A crucial day in Bihar politics began with the Janata Dal (United) completing its Legislature Party meeting, where Nitish Kumar was unanimously elected as the party’s leader. The meeting, held at the Chief Minister’s residence, concluded earlier today.

Meanwhile, the BJP Legislature Party meeting is currently underway at the party headquarters in the Atal Auditorium. The meeting is being chaired by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and central observer as well as UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya. All newly elected BJP MLAs are present in the meeting.

According to early indications, Samrat Choudhary has been chosen as the leader of the BJP Legislature Party, while Vijay Sinha has reportedly been selected as the deputy leader. However, an official confirmation is still awaited.

Once the BJP meeting concludes, the NDA partners will convene at 3 PM at the Chief Minister’s residence. A total of 202 legislators from the NDA alliance are expected to attend. In this meeting, Nitish Kumar will be formally elected as the leader of the NDA Legislature Party.

Following this, he will visit the Raj Bhavan along with alliance partners to stake claim to form the next government, officially initiating the process of government formation.

The oath-taking ceremony is scheduled for tomorrow, November 20, at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Nitish Kumar will take oath as Chief Minister for the 10th time. Along with him, two Deputy Chief Ministers and around 20 ministers may also be sworn in. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and several prominent leaders are likely to attend the ceremony.
