Ranchi : Under NTPC Limited’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, 30 youth from families affected by the company’s coal mining projects in Hazaribagh have successfully completed a seven-month residential skill development programme in tourism and hospitality. The initiative aims to equip project-affected youth with industry-oriented skills and improve their employment prospects.
The certificate distribution ceremony was organised at the training centre of Frontline Global Services Charitable Trust in Tatisilwai, which conducted the entire residential training programme.
Training Focused on Tourism and Hospitality Skills
The programme was attended by Shri Prabhat Ram, GM (HR), NTPC Mining Headquarters, along with the Chairperson and Co-Founder of Frontline Global Services Charitable Trust.
The trainees successfully completed the Guest Service Associate (Food and Beverage) course under the tourism and hospitality sector. The training provided them with industry-oriented skills aimed at improving employment opportunities and supporting sustainable livelihoods.
NTPC Official Encourages Youth to Pursue Their Aspirations
Addressing the students, Shri Prabhat Ram encouraged them to recognise their skills and potential. He urged them to overcome the fear of facing the outside world and pursue their aspirations with confidence.
He said dedication and hard work can create new opportunities and bring meaningful changes in life.
