Jharkhand News : NTPC North Karanpura organized a series of awareness programs in project-affected villages (PAVs) to promote environmental conservation and sustainable development.
As part of the initiative, awareness campaigns were conducted in the villages of Kamta, Reham, and Dhundhwa, where 900 jute bags were distributed among local residents. During the programs, villagers were educated about the harmful effects of single-use plastic and encouraged to adopt eco-friendly and biodegradable alternatives such as jute bags.

In addition, to support environmental sustainability, 400 fruit-bearing saplings were distributed among residents of Reham, Tandwa, Kamta, and Naiparam villages. The initiative aimed to increase green cover, conserve biodiversity, and encourage rural communities to participate in environmental protection through tree plantation.

Through these efforts, **NTPC Limited North Karanpura reaffirmed its commitment to building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
Local villagers actively participated in the programs and appreciated the environmental awareness activities and initiatives undertaken by the organization.
