NTPC North Karanpura Signs MoA with Chatra Administration to Fund E-Carts for Eco Park

Jharkhand News : NTPC North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Station (NKSTPP) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Chatra District Administration to provide two battery-operated e-carts for the newly inaugurated Eco Park in Chatra, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable community development and improved public convenience.

The MoA was signed in the presence of Chatra Deputy Commissioner Ravi Anand, IAS, and Neeraj Roy, AGM (HR), NTPC North Karanpura.

The agreement was formally executed by Manoj Toppo, District Mining Officer (DMO), Chatra, on behalf of the district administration, and Nikhil Gupta, DGM (HR), NTPC North Karanpura, representing NTPC.

Under the agreement, NTPC North Karanpura will provide financial assistance of ₹13 lakh for the procurement of the two e-carts. The battery-operated vehicles are expected to improve mobility within the Eco Park, particularly benefiting senior citizens, children, and persons with disabilities.

The initiative has been undertaken as part of NTPC North Karanpura’s Community Development programme and is aimed at strengthening sustainable public infrastructure while enhancing the overall visitor experience at the Eco Park.

Officials from NTPC North Karanpura’s Human Resources and R&R/CSR departments, along with representatives of the Chatra District Administration, were present during the MoA signing ceremony.
