The roti maker was formally inaugurated in a small ceremony graced by Meenakshi Srivastava, Senior Member of the Sanyukta Mahila Samiti, and Punam Jain, President of Swayamsiddha Ladies Club. The event witnessed the presence of club members, volunteers, and officials of the old age home.

As part of the outreach, the club also distributed packed food items and essential ration supplies to the elderly. The home currently shelters around 50 senior citizens, and with plans underway to increase its capacity, the contribution comes at a crucial time.

The automatic roti maker is expected to make food preparation faster and more efficient, reducing the physical strain on kitchen staff and volunteers. Most importantly, it ensures the elderly residents receive warm and timely meals with dignity and care.

Members of the Swayamsiddha Ladies Club personally engaged with the residents, offering emotional support along with material assistance. This compassionate involvement not only provided immediate relief but also reinforced a sense of community and belonging among the elderly.

Speaking on the occasion, Punam Jain expressed her heartfelt sentiments:
“Our goal is not just to provide support but to bring comfort and smiles to the faces of the elderly. We believe every individual deserves to live with respect and love, especially in their golden years.”

This CSR initiative by SSLC reflects their ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community development. By addressing both emotional and practical needs of the elderly, they continue to set an inspiring example of empathy-driven leadership.
