Jharkhand News : A one-day teacher training workshop was organized by Sampark Foundation, New Delhi, at Upgraded Middle School, Govindpur, Mandu, to promote digital learning and strengthen classroom teaching.
During the programme, digital Sampark TV devices were distributed to participating teachers after the completion of the training. The event began with a welcome address by the school’s Headmaster, Dr. Sunil Kumar Kashyap, who appreciated Sampark Foundation’s efforts in supporting government schools through technology-enabled education. He said the initiative would help address the shortage of teachers by providing high-quality digital content and urged teachers to make full use of the learning resources to improve students’ academic performance and learning outcomes.
The training session was conducted by District Trainer Vicky Kumar Yadav, while Teklal Ji assisted in coordinating the programme.
State Coordinator Amit Kumar, who attended as the chief guest, explained the objectives of the initiative. He said the updated Sampark TV devices contain curriculum-aligned digital content that enables teachers to teach Science for Classes 6 to 8, as well as Hindi, Mathematics, and English for Classes 1 to 5, in an interactive and engaging manner.
He added that all learning materials are aligned with the state curriculum and include videos, activity-based lessons, worksheets, and assessment tools, making classroom learning more effective and enjoyable. The digital platform is designed to enhance students’ learning outcomes through interactive teaching methods.
Around 50 teachers from Mandu block participated in the training programme.
Following the workshop, Amit Kumar interacted with students of Upgraded Middle School, Govindpur, introducing them to the work of Sampark Foundation and its educational initiatives. The students enthusiastically learned about the Foundation and appreciated its efforts to improve learning through digital education.
