Jharkhand News : A police encounter took place on Monday in the Bhurkunda area of Ramgarh district between security personnel and members of the notorious Prince Khan gang. During the exchange of fire, gang member Shivraj Ram alias Shiva sustained a bullet injury and was arrested by the police.
The injured accused was admitted to Ramgarh Sadar Hospital in critical condition for treatment. According to reports, a total of four gang members were arrested following the encounter.
Police said they recovered two pistols, 59 live cartridges, and one mobile phone from the encounter site.
Preliminary investigations indicate that Shivraj Ram alias Shiva was an active member of the Prince Khan gang and had been wanted by the police for a long time. Further investigation into the case is underway.
