Jharkhand News : Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL) joined the nation in celebrating the 51st Foundation Day of NTPC with great enthusiasm and unity. On this occasion, a mass tree plantation drive was organized at the prefab and plant premises, reaffirming PVUNL’s commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development.
The event was led by Ashok Kumar Sehgal, CEO, PVUNL, and Renu Sehgal, President, Swarnrekha Mahila Samiti. They were joined by Anupam Mukherjee, Chief General Manager (Project), Manish Kshetrpal, General Manager (O&M), Vishnu Dutta Dash, General Manager (Project), O.P. Solanki, General Manager (Maintenance), Sangeeta Dash, General Manager (TS), along with other senior officials and employees.
Following the plantation drive, a flag hoisting ceremony was held at the project office premises, where all employees reaffirmed their dedication to NTPC’s values and mission.
Subsequently, employees attended the virtual address by Gurdeep Singh, Chairman & Managing Director, NTPC Limited. He congratulated the PVUNL team on the successful Commercial Operation Declaration (COD) of Unit-1, calling it a major milestone in NTPC’s growth journey. He also highlighted achievements across other NTPC projects and encouraged employees to further contribute to nation-building, energy security, and sustainable growth.
The event concluded with great enthusiasm, as the PVUNL family pledged to continue NTPC’s legacy of excellence and green growth.
