Jharkhand News : The PVUNL Township came alive with colors, devotion, and celebration as employees and their families enthusiastically participated in the Durga Puja and Dussehra festivities. The multi-day celebration was marked by vibrant cultural events, religious ceremonies, and strong community spirit.

The festivities began with a “Mata Ki Chowki”, where the devotional atmosphere left everyone deeply moved. On the second day, a musical evening and an inter-house cultural competition were organized, showcasing the diverse talents of PVUNL employees and their family members.
A Dandiya Night, held in the evening, turned out to be one of the main attractions, bringing joy and excitement to participants of all age groups.
Among the cultural highlights was a mesmerizing performance of Chhau dance, a traditional Indian art form, which captivated the audience. On Dussehra, children from Bal Bhavan staged a beautiful Ramleela, portraying the legendary tale of Lord Ram, which deeply resonated with the audience.
The event culminated with a grand Ravan Dahan (effigy burning) at the Township Ground, witnessed by a large gathering of residents and guests.
Distinguished dignitaries present on the occasion included Mr. A.K. Sehgal, Chief Executive Officer, PVUNL; Mrs. Renu Sehgal, President of Svarnrekha Mahila Samiti; Mr. Manish Khetarpal, GM (O&M); Mr. Anupam Mukherjee, CGM (Project); Mr. Vishnu Dash, GM (Project); Mr. O.P. Solanki, GM (Maintenance); and Mrs. Sangeeta Dash, GM (TS), among other senior officials and their families.
The entire celebration beautifully reflected the spirit of unity, tradition, and cultural harmony, further strengthening the bond among township residents.
