Radha Govind University Physics Department Hosts Freshers' Welcome and Farewell Ceremony

Jharkhand News : The Department of Physics under the Faculty of Science at Radha Govind University organized a Freshers’ Welcome and Farewell Ceremony to warmly welcome newly admitted students and bid an emotional farewell to the outgoing final-year students.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome address. Senior students greeted the freshers and introduced them to the university’s academic environment and cultural traditions. The programme featured a series of vibrant cultural performances, including songs, dance, music, poetry, and other entertaining acts, creating a lively and memorable atmosphere.

University Chancellor B.N. Sah extended his best wishes to both the new entrants and graduating students, encouraging them to strive for excellence and wishing them success in their future endeavours.

University Secretary Priyanka Kumari wished the freshers a bright academic journey and conveyed her heartfelt greetings to the outgoing students for a successful, prosperous, and dignified future. She expressed confidence that the students would contribute meaningfully to society and the nation through their knowledge, talent, and values.

The programme was attended by Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Rashmi, Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Nirmal Kumar Mandal, Finance and Accounts Officer Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Controller of Examinations Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Kumar, Management Committee Member Ajay, and faculty members of the Faculty of Science.

Head of the Department of Physics Dr. D.K. Kushwaha congratulated the students and encouraged them to uphold the values of knowledge, integrity, and scientific curiosity throughout their careers.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Rahul Chandra Mandal. Outstanding performers were honoured during the event. The farewell concluded on an emotional note as final-year students shared their experiences at the university and extended their best wishes to their juniors for a bright and successful future.
