Jharkhand News : The Ramgarh branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad has launched the ‘Kalpavriksha Lagao’ campaign from the historic Kila Temple in Ramgarh. As part of the initiative, Kalpavriksha saplings were planted at several temples and educational institutions across the district.
In the second phase, two Kalpavriksha saplings were planted at the premises of Shri Shri Maruti Nandan Temple in the Market Committee area. The third and fourth phases were conducted at Agrasen Vidyalaya, Bhurkunda, and Agrasen Vidyalaya, Dulmi.
Campaign to Continue Across the District
Bharat Vikas Parishad Ramgarh branch president Anil Kumar Goel, secretary Pradeep Kumar Sharma and plantation programme coordinator Amit Sahu jointly said that the ‘Kalpavriksha Lagao’ campaign will continue across the district.
They said the plantation initiative will be taken forward systematically at different locations across Ramgarh.
Members Attend Plantation Drive
The programme was attended by Bharat Vikas Parishad founder president Govind Mewar, Nikhil Mehul of Kalpataru Foundation, and Ramgarh branch members Nisha Jain, Preeti Singh, Prakash Agrawal, Suraj Agrawal, Deepak Agrawal and Situ Saluja.
Priests Govind Sharma and Murari Sharma of Shri Shri Prachin Kila Temple, along with Yogesh Pathak, priest of Maruti Nandan Temple, were also present. Several other members participated in the plantation programme.
